Attention everyone in the Tall Grass Chapter area of Illinois. On September 19th at the Frankforst Sportsman’s Club from 8am-12pm there will be a pre-season tune up day. This event will be for youth and their parents to tune up their skills before the hunting season.

Attention everyone in the rockford area of Illinois. On October 10th from 930 to 2 Severson Dells Nature Center along with Pheasants Forever will hold a work day. There will be restoration on honeysuckle, seed collecting of prairie plants, lunch and a hike.

Hey guys. So guess what? Earth Day is approaching fast and I would like everyone of you to contribute in your own way. We need the earth around for years to come so we have to do our part NOW!!!! So I have a favor for each and everyone of you. Earth day is April 22nd and it will be the 39th year anniversery. What I would like is for you to go out and:

1.) Plant a tree

2.) Make a nature craft such as (make a bird feeder out of a milk jug, egg carton bugs, laundry bottle pet food scoopers, and tin can pots).

3.) Learn more about your environment.

4.) Reduce, Reuse and Recycle EVERYDAY!!

5.) Recycle your old games and toys.

6.) Pick up litter.

7.) Ride your bike or walk to school instead of riding in a car.

Any of these things will help make the earth a better place, and you can make a difference!!!
