Last week I introduced you my bird dog puppy Hank. For those of you who have had puppies, you know that they can cause a great deal of mischief. Outside the entry to our house we have a shoe shelf. Everyone in our family has a shelf that they keep their shoes on. Well lately Hank has taken it upon himself to constantly empty the shoe shelf and carry all the shoes that he can reach out into the front yard one at a time. He doesn’t chew on them, he just takes them to the front yard, gives them a couple of shakes and drops them, then goes back and gets another one. Why do you think he does that? For fun? If you have a puppy or dog that does some things that you just shake your head and ask “why do they do that” then please share your pet stories with the rest of us.

The National Youth Leadership Council has a new leadership team. They are Chairman-Evan Beech of Tennessee; Vice-Chairman-Brooks VanDerBeek of Iowa; Secretary-Rylee Young of Nebraska; Treasurer-Cassie Schlender of Wisconsin; Public Relations Specialist- Marie Keefe of Ohio; Fund Raising Specialist- Shawna Pantzke of North Dakota and Tyler Goode of Michigan. Congratulations to these people on their new positions.
Hi every one I am getting ready for boy scout camp it is going to be great spending a whole week outdoors doing White water kayaking, rock climbing, and much more. Like the youth councils leader rich I am also training a dog. Her name is Roxy she is a yellow lab and she is 7 months old.

A couple weekends ago the National Youth Leadership Council (NYLC) had their summer meeting in Illinois. We all slept in tents. We did other outdoor activities as well.
