Hey everyone! Hope summer is going well and you guys are getting out and enjoying the outdooors! I most definately am. I actually learned how to barefoot this summer up north at our cabin and have been training with some people that compete at Nationals for barefooting! It’s challenging, but very fun once you get the hang of it! It’s defiantely a lifetime experience and I can’t get enough of it! All of you should try doing a watersport at some point because even though it’s challenging, it’s very rewarding and gives you a chance to enjoy the nice weather everything there is to offer at a lake~!

The 2010 Focus On Forever was another successful event. Thanks to Rich Wissink, Cheryl Riley, Janine Kohn, Liz Roxberry, and Mike Parker for putting this event on. Thanks to all the presenters who did a great job and taught us all new ways to get kids in the outdoors. If you have anyone in your chapter that went be sure to ask them what they learned over the weekend.

This week end I am at the Focas on Forever event in East Lancing, Michigan learning about youth programs. Another plus is that I get to hang out with friends from pheasants forever that I consider my Pheasants Forever family. It is a great time!

As Will previously stated in his post, Focus on Forever starts tomorrow. It is going to be an exciting weekend. There will be several NYLC members here participating as well as helping with workshops. Does anybody know anyone who is coming to FOF? If so be sure to ask them about it when they get back.
