Earth Day was started to recognize the importance of helping the planet we live on. There are many ways of doing that by how we live and what we choose to be involved in. Many young people today are taking an active role helping in their communities by doing service projects such as cleaning up streams, planting trees, getting involved in habitat projects, planting gardens and learning about the needs of wildlife. Earth Day is a time to celebrate! How are you going to celebrate this year? Are you going to attend an event, do something you love outside?
