Hi everyone!! My name is Alison Brentzel. I will be the new IL regional youth program coordinator. The reason I am posting is to say hello and give you a little information about me. I recently graduated from UNK in Nebraska with a degree in Park and Recreation Management with Natural Resources. I was born and raised in Grand Island, Nebraska. I love to hunt and fish, and to share those experiences with others. I just moved to Dundee, Illinois and will be working with Max McGraw Wildlife Foundation and with 5 Pheasant Forever chapter in Illinois. I will be putting on programs for youth in the area.  These activities will be open to the public, so bring your friends!! So if you have any suggestions for activities you would like for me to put on let me know. My email address is abrentzel@pheasantsforever.org.

Also if you are interested in starting a chapter in your area, or starting a youth council for your chapter contact me and I can get you the information you need. Or if you have any other questions reguarding outdoor education and pheasants forever.

Your National Youth Leadership Council members are working on your behalf and doing a great job. Jacob Robinson attended the Minnesota State PF Convention this past weekend and gave a talk about what he had been doing on the Council in front of about 200 people. It was an excellent presentation. Shawna Pantzke was at the North Dakota State Habitat Convention and met chapter members, sold raffle tickets and set up a booth. She also did a super job. What have all of you been up to? Anyone else attending a state PF or QF meeting? –Cheryl
